Certification and performance claims

The Headwater under-sink system is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the contaminant reductions specifically identified on its product page, including PFOA and PFOS reduction, tested non-detect at the 20 parts-per-trillion standard.

Certification applies only to the contaminants expressly listed, and only when the system is installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions — including replacement of the cartridge at or before its rated capacity of 500 gallons. Claims of certification do not extend to contaminants not listed, and do not constitute a representation about the safety or composition of your particular water supply.

Our products are not intended for use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

Health claims

Dipper Water Co. products are water treatment devices. They are not medical devices, and nothing on this site should be construed as medical advice or as a claim that our products diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Statements about contaminant reduction refer to laboratory-tested filtration performance, not health outcomes.

Headwater systems and cartridges are manufactured in Idaho, United States.

NSF and NSF/ANSI are trademarks of NSF International and are used here solely to identify the standards to which our products are certified.
