Support & FAQ

Fair questions.

Does this actually remove PFAS?

The system is certified to NSF/ANSI 53 and tested to the 20-ppt standard — our results for PFOA and PFOS read non-detect. That's the certification to ask any filter company about. If they change the subject, that's your answer.

Will it fit under my sink?

If a standard kitchen cabinet lives there, yes. The filter is about 3.5″ around and 10″ tall, mounts to the cabinet wall, and connects inline to your cold water line.

Do I need a plumber?

No. Quick-connect fittings, hand-tightened. Instructions have pictures; the pictures have jokes.

How often do cartridges change?

Every six months for most households (the cartridge is rated for 500 gallons — heavy cooks and big families may run 3–4 months, light users longer). Subscriptions ship automatically with a reminder first.

What about the rest of my house?

This is a point-of-use filter — it certifies the water you drink and cook with. Whole-home PFAS treatment is a different (much larger) machine.

What's the warranty?

One year from installation. And if you don't love it: contact us — the bird holds no grudges.
