About Dipper Water Co.

Better water. It started at home.

Dipper began with a concern about one family’s water and a belief that finding a better solution should be simpler.

A note from our founder

My family’s water changed how I thought about every glass.

When I learned how poor the water quality was at my family’s home, I started looking for a solution. I wanted a filter that could address the problems in our water and was primarily assembled in the USA.

I couldn’t find the combination I was looking for. That search became the reason I started Dipper.

I set out to make filtered water more accessible to people and families across the United States: straight from the tap they already use, with naturally occurring minerals kept in the water.

What began as a concern for my own family became the purpose behind Dipper. Better water should have a place in everyday life.

Our name

A little bird. A lasting reminder.

Our name comes from the dipper, a songbird at home along fast-moving streams.

For a dipper, water is part of every day. It is for us, too. The bird reminds us to pay attention to something so familiar it can be easy to take for granted.

It’s a small namesake for a simple belief: the water you use every day deserves care.

The priorities behind Dipper

What we set out to make.

Assembled in the USA.

Where our filter comes together matters to us. Assembly primarily in the USA was part of the goal from the beginning.

Keep the minerals.

The Headwater’s carbon filtration reduces specific unwanted substances while retaining naturally occurring minerals. It is not a water softener.

Your own faucet.

Filtered cold water from the tap you already use. No second faucet, no pitcher to refill, and no extra appliance on the counter.

Meet the Headwater

Our purpose, under your sink.

The Headwater brings that idea into the kitchen. It connects under your sink to the cold water line, with carbon filtration designed to reduce PFOA, PFOS and chlorine taste and odor.

It’s made for the glasses, pots and bottles you fill every day. See the filter’s specifications and fit requirements to find out whether it’s right for your home.
